You can draw a boundary shape or place a grid at any coordination as needed.

Click Column Grid

The Column Grid palette displays.

Type a Grid Rotation or keep the default of 0.00.

Select a label layout type from the A, B, C... list.

Click Add
to add vertical lines.

Change the value in Label or leave the default.

Type a Column To Column Distance for each row.
If you set the value in the first row higher than 0, your grid line offsets from
the boundary based on that value.
Each time you type a value in Column To Column Distance, the Overall Distance updates with the sum distance of the lines.

Select Horizontal Lines (X) from the Modify Spacing list.

Click Add
to add horizontal lines.

Change the value in Label or leave the default.

Type a Column To Column Distance for each row.

Each time you type a value in Floor To Floor Distance, the Overall Elevation updates with the sum distance of the lines.

Click Labels.

Type an Extension Length.

Select a Group.
The Layer list auto-populates.

Update the Layer list if needed.

Select a Bubble Shape.

Type a Bubble Size.

Select a Group.
The Layer list auto-populates.

Update the Layer list if needed.

Select a Label Position.

Select Coordinates from the Place By list.

Type the X coordinate.

Type the Y coordinate.

Type the Z coordinate.

Click Insert.
The grid places in the 3D model space.
