Set the properties for the equipment definition.

These properties are for the equipment definition level. Properties for components of the equipment are defined in the component window.

Name - Assign or edit the name of the equipment definition.

Description - Add a description of the equipment definition.

Layer - Select a default layer for equipment in this definition.

Color - Select a default color for equipment in this definition.

Group - Select a default group for equipment in this definition.

Insulation Type - Select a default insulation type for equipment in this definition.

Refractory Type - Select a default refractory type for equipment in this definition.

Tracing Type - Select a default tracing type for equipment in this definition.

Material - Select a default material for equipment in this definition.

Inherit Diameter Dimension - Check the box if you want the equipment to inherit diameter dimension.

Nozzle Thickness Table - Select the Nozzle Thickness Table for equipment in this definition.

Size Table - Select the table used to define the size.

Schedule Table - Select the table used to define the schedule.

Thickness Table - Select the table used to define the thickness.

Equipment Orientation - Select the orientation of the equipment.

Reference Line Enable - Check the box to enable the reference line.

  • Disabled - Component Distance values are measured from the parent component insertion point.

  • Enabled - Component Distance values are measured from a common reference line location.

Reference Line Offset - Specifies the common reference line offset from the Equipment Definition insertion point.

Long Desc Format Setup - Use the Library Schema Format Manager to configure this field.

Short Desc Format Setup - Use the Library Schema Format Manager to configure this field.

Tag Format Setup - Use the Library Schema Format Manager to configure this field.

Part Number Format Setup - Use the Library Schema Format Manager to configure this field.

Image

You can choose an image to associate with the equipment definition. Click on Select image then choose an image file and click Open.

Custom Data

Custom Data can be added with the following fields:

Name - Type a value for the Name.

Title - Type a value for the Title.

Description - Type a value for the Description.

Data Type - Select a value for the Data Type.

Inheritance Level - Select a value for the Inheritance Level.

Default Value - Type a value for the Default Value.

Attachments

Attach additional information to the equipment. Use the Attachment Manager to add or remove attachments.
