Requalification pathways are designed to help learners maintain their qualifications over time. A requalification pathway is simply a child qualification pathway that is automatically created each time a learner's qualification reaches the expiry time warning set on the qualification.

When your qualification is about to expire, on the warning date, you'll get an email telling you it's time to renew it. These pathways include the same components as initial qualification pathways (such as reusable components, modules, and groupings) and can be activated multiple times throughout the lifespan of a pathway. Once you complete the pathway, your qualification records are updated.
