Starting point for organizing your learning material. It's a way of grouping similar competencies together at a high level, making it easier to categorize your learning material. Think of it as the different types of skill sets your organization requires of its employees. You can be as creative as you'd like.
For example, you might have competencies that are specific to health and safety and others that pertain to normal operations. In this case, you can create two competency types:
-
Health and Safety
-
Operations
Competency types must be defined before you can create single-use or reusable competencies and build out qualification pathways. Competency types are helpful in reporting and searching and make up your Competency Records.
