Reuse one or more items from another existing document into the document being edited. For information about how to reuse content from within the document you're editing, see Reference links.
The Items option is available only in documents, but not in flows.
Before you begin
Open the document in edit mode.
Procedure

Click Items on the document page. Once done, a search box appears.
You can also click on the ellipsis icon > Items.

Enter part of the title or description of the existing document from which you want to reuse items.

From the dropdown list, select the document you want to reuse items from.
The selected document appears in a separate window with checkboxes beside each reusable item.

Select one or more item checkboxes > Click Add.

Parent-child
Selection of any parent item includes all of its children. To reuse specific child statements, select their respective checkboxes. This applies to items such as sections, branches, etc.
Single use variables
Existing input values are reused.
Reusable variables
Reusable variable input values are cleared and must be redefined. If the document being edited already has a value for the reusable variable, it will be applied automatically.
Data collection keys
Existing input values are reused.
Range validation rules
Existing input values are reused.
Scan code
Existing input values are reused.
Reference links
Existing input values are reused as long as the targeted item is also reused. Otherwise, the existing input values are cleared.
Items from document being edited
Can be selected as long as at least one draft version has been previously saved.
Result
The selected items are reused into the document being edited.
