Make changes to content to ensure it is kept current.
About this task
The process of editing a document is basically the same for a document template, a decoupled document, or a traditional document. But keep in mind the following:
-
Editing a document template results in changes to all documents generated from that template unless the change was specific to an asset or attribute selection.
-
When editing an asset-specific document, only the document information can be changed. If the document requires changes that cannot be made in the template, it must first be decoupled so that it can be edited as a standalone document.
Procedure

-
On the menu, navigate to Manage and click Templates.
The list of templates displays and is sorted by Asset type.
-
