Apply a system-wide banner in AcceleratorKMS.

About this task
Show a custom message that appears as a banner in AcceleratorKMS. The message can be used to warn users about planned events or other important messages that require a timely method for disseminating information.
For example, if there is a planned system outage, users could be notified to save their work.
Longer banner messages can be viewed by clicking the expand and collapse icon. Messages can also be minimized. Click the minimized message to see the full message.
Procedure

On the menu bar, click the gear icon > Configuration.

In the navigation tree, click UI Modes.

Navigate to BannerStaticContent, and click Edit.

Type a banner message in the field.
You can include HTML tags and links in your banner message. For example, the following
figure shows a sample banner message that includes an HTML tag to bold text and a
tag to force a line break. The second figure shows the results of the banner message
in AcceleratorKMS.

(Optional) Navigate to BannerTitle, and type a title for your banner message in the field.

Click Save.
The banner message and title, if used, remains in place until it is cleared.
