About this task

When you delete a domain, you also delete its domain descendants.

Before you begin

All content and users have been removed from the domain. See the preceding procedure Searching for content or users within a domain.

Procedure

  1. Access the Manage domains page by using one of the following:

    1. On the menu, navigate to View and click Index.

    2. Click Manage Domains.or on the menu bar, click the gear icon > Domains.

The system displays the domain hierarchy.

  2. Expand a domain to reveal the content within that domain and descendant domains.

SHARED Tip The x only appears when all content (including archived content) and users have been removed from the domain and its descendants. If there is a count number beside the domain, there is still draft or published content in the domain. If no count is shown, there is likely archived content.

  3. Click the x icon to delete the domain.

Results
