About this task

Reactivate an account that has been locked after exceeding the maximum number of login attempts.

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, click the gear icon > Users.

The system displays the Users page.

  2. Click the edit icon beside the name of the user account you want to modify.

  3. In the Username field, clear the Locked check box to reactivate the account.

  4. If the user requires a password reset in addition to unlocking their account, follow these steps:

    1. If not already checked, select the Local account with password check box, and select Change Password check box.

    2. Type a new temporary password and type the password again to confirm.

  5. Notify the user of your actions.

  6. Click Save.
