Store a backup copy of published content in an external storage library.
When this feature is enabled and content is published, the external storage library updates with an exported file-based copy of the content. The content is exported using the default language set for the AcceleratorKMS instance.
Content copies in the external storage library are managed entirely by AcceleratorKMS; they should not be manually modified, checked out, added, or deleted.
Published content synchronization allows for PDF, Web, DocX, and JSON versions of your published content to be exported to either a SharePoint library on-premise, online hosted, or an FTP site. Work with your AcceleratorKMS representative to have this feature enabled.

If published content has a new draft version within AcceleratorKMS due to changes to content and/or the domain is modified to a different domain, the following occurs:

The published version on the external storage library is not updated until the new draft is published.

AcceleratorKMS automatically updates the domain on the existing published copy without requiring the published version to be retracted and republished. However, changes to content are not updated to the external storage library until the new draft is published.

If published content is retracted and not republished, which means there are no published versions of the content in AcceleratorKMS, the copy is then automatically removed from the external storage library.
