Ensure all features and options are properly set before AcceleratorKMS is used.

Before you begin

  • Requires an account with the Administrator role

  • If your installation of AcceleratorKMS has multiple application/web servers:

  • You must know the login information for the main Administrator account

  • You must know the IP address for each server so that you can log in

About this task

Using configuration settings, you can adjust some of the default configurations for AcceleratorKMS, such as enabling and disabling certain features, setting defaults for dates and icons, configuring SMTP settings for email, and formatting template styles.

Procedure

  1. On the menu bar, click the gear icon > Configuration.

  2. Make the desired changes.

  3. Click Save.

  4. If you have additional application/web servers, follow these steps:

    The following steps must be followed to ensure that you are using the new settings and not continuing to use the cached settings.

    1. Log in using your user account that has the Administrator role.

    2. On the menu bar, click the gear icon > Configuration.

      The Configuration Settings page opens.

    3. Click Clear cache.

    4. Navigate to the upper-right menu bar and select Logout from the drop-down list.

Results

The configuration changes are applied.
