Use the Configuration Utility's Site Information page to provide the information necessary to create the website.

From Web Site, select whether to create a new web site or use an existing site.

If you are creating a new web site:

Type the name in the Web Site Name box.

Type the port to use in the Http Port box. Valid ports are 0 to 65535.

Type a name for the application in the Application Name box.

Type or select the application pool to run the API in the Application Pool box. If you are using Windows Authentication to access the configuration database, the identity of the selected Application Pool must have access to the database where the configuration information is stored (see Modify the application pool.)
The Application Pool Identity displays below the Application Pool box. You need to grant additional permissions to this user. See Grant Modify permissions to web server files.

Change the https information if necessary.

Click Next, and continue with Provide authorization provider information.
