You can create or modify properties for column items in an object using WQMS-Schema Excel sheet. These properties are grouped together and mapped to an interface.

To create or modify properties:

  1. Open WQMS-Schema Excel file.

  2. Navigate to PropertyDef sheet > PropertyDef section and edit the following properties:

    • UID - Type a unique identifier name for the property in UID syntax.

    • Name - Type a name for the property.

    • Description - Provide the description for the property.

    • Display As - Provide the name of the property or module.

    • InterfaceDef (PropertyDef Rel) - Specify the primary interface for the property.

    • PropertyType (PropertyDef Rel) - Enter the property type such as string, boolean, or an integer. Also determines the Enum list type.
Enum list type is a property that enables you to have constant values (in the form of list) to select column-items. For example, you can have list options as Yes or No. For more information, refer to Create or modify enum list type.

    • SchemaRevVer - Determines in which schema version the properties are loaded to SPF. For example 4.03.

    • By Customer? - By default this value must be TRUE. These are the values or properties added by the user.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.

    • ContainerID - Defines the package or .xml file that contains the object.

  3. In Exposes section, edit the following properties and map them to an interface by creating a UID:

    • UID - UID1.UID2.

    • UID1 - Type the UID for the interface of a property.

    • UID2 - Type the UID for the property.

    • OrderValue - Specify the order in which the properties must be populated in the UI.

    • IsRequired - By default, it is FALSE.

    • SchemaRevVer - Determines in which schema version the properties are loaded to SPF. For example 4.03.

    • By Customer? - By default, this value must be TRUE. These are the values or properties added by the user.

    • Solution(s) - Type * to load the data to SPF database, or type Deleted to avoid loading the data to SPF database.

  4. Save the file.
